Insa-dong is a dong, or neighborhood of the Jongno-gu district of the South Korean city of Seoul.
The main street is Insadong-gil, which is connected to a multitude of alleys that lead deeper into the
district, with modern galleries and tea shops.
At one time it was the largest market for antiques and artworks in Korea.
I'D LIKE TO recommened to you korean tastey food & korean restaurant.
The Sadong Myeonok at Insa -dong .
Menu
Korean Food/- Naengmyeon (cold buckwheat noodle)
- Dogani-tang (Boiled ox knee)
- Mandu-jeongol (Dumpling hot pot)
Mandu= dumplings, Jeongol= stew or soup
Jeongol is a category of elaborate stews or casseroles in Korean cuisine.
It is similar to the category of Korean stews called jjigae, with the main difference being that jjigae
are generally made with only a single main ingredient, and named after that ingredient while jeongol
usually contain a variety of main ingredients. An additional difference is that jeongol was
originally a dish for upper-class Koreans and members of the royal court, while jjigae was a simpler
dish for commoners. It's really good.
